While a teaser for the new DC movie Supergirl The film returned in December, and Warner Bros. dropped the film. A new trailer dropped on Tuesday, with Millie Alcock’s Supergirl/Kara feeling a little underwhelming. She says to her cousin Superman/ Clark Kent (David Corenswet), has no people, but she soon finds an intergalactic reason to take over everything, thanks to Krypto – well, thanks to Krypto’s poisoning, I mean.
There is a clock put on Crypto’s well-being: three days. Cream of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts) has one of his men do the dirty work, and putting Superdog in danger prompts Supergirl into action.
Then there Jason Momoa. For years, the actor has been talking about his dream role playing Lobo, and now he’s getting his chance. Momoa, formerly known in the DC Universe as Aquaman, takes on the role of the iconic hero, and we’re finally able to get a good look at what’s in store.
Later in the trailer, Supergirl tells Ruthie Mary Knoll (played by Eve Ridley) that “revenge won’t take away your pain,” referring to the damage Cream did to her family. Well, now that Kara’s family – Krypto – is in danger, will she be able to follow her own advice?
Supergirl, the second DC Studios film James GunnIt is directed by Craig Gillespie and also stars David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham and Ferdinand Kingsley. The film is coming to theaters and IMAX on June 26.
