Each of these RGB-equipped smart bulbs can fill your space with millions of colors, and you can adjust their brightness and warmth. It also comes loaded with a ton of preset “scenes,” including sunset colors and holiday-inspired lighting themes, or you can create your own color and effect combinations using the Govee app. The cheaper Table Lamp 2 offers over 60 preset scenes, while the more expensive Table Lamp 2 Pro includes over 100 scenes, plus 210 individually controllable LED beads for smoother color blending. Both bulbs can also sync to your music and support Matter, so you can connect to either Alexa, Google Home, or any major smart home platform for voice control.
The main difference is that the Table Lamp 2 Pro acts as a portable Bluetooth speaker, so it can play music instead of just responding to it (although it’s not weatherproof, so be careful when it’s raining). Its sound is suitable for casual listening, and in our tests, we found that although it can’t match party speakers like JBL Pulse 5it’s still loud enough for small gatherings. It also supports Govee’s Music DreamView feature, which lets you sync lighting effects across up to 10 other Govee lights for a more immersive experience.
