How little energy might you consume? Examine the notebook Tested Version of the laptop with LG Display and new Intel Panther Lake chip -And it appears to be the most efficient laptop ever never Tested for web browsing over Wi-Fi. At idle, the Core Ultra 325 laptop consumes as little as 1.5 watts, lasting about 27 hours of web browsing despite only packing a 70 watt-hour pack. That’s just shy of the 99.5Wh that Dell sometimes crams into its 16-inch models.
This is longer battery life than Examine the notebook It’s out of any MacBook or MacBook Pro, it seems More than all but two other laptops Since I started doing this testing in 2014. Of these two laptops, One was adopted On the Qualcomm Snapdragon The other king two Batteries total 149Wh and a 60Hz display as well.
I should warn you that we usually see much less battery life in an actual workday than we do in static battery life tests. But compared to other laptops, this Dell + Intel + LG display combo seems to be the new champion for battery life. Note that Dell also sells it with a high-resolution tandem OLED display, though — you’ll need to settle for a 1920 x 1200 resolution and no touchscreen to get the best battery life.
Although Dell may deserve a lot of credit as a systems integrator, this technology may not be exclusive to Dell for long. LG Display just announced that it has become the world’s first company to produce a 1-120Hz laptop LCD panel (branded as 1Hz Oxide), and plans to mass-produce an OLED version in 2027. Intel also isn’t working with a single display vendor: last October, It announced that it is working with Chinese panel manufacturer BOE On computers with 1Hz refresh rate as well.
