The new hardware includes a redesigned heart rate sensor, a dual-core machine learning processor, and up to 250 days of on-device data storage. Perhaps its biggest draw is that, unlike Oura, Ultrahuman doesn’t charge a subscription fee for access to basic health metrics. Instead, Ultrahuman offers the basics for free, including some upgraded tools called power sockets, Which includes features like ovulation tracking, as well as tips on things like when to take caffeine and how to improve vitamin D absorption from the sun.
Some other PowerPlugs come with additional fees, including AFib detection, respiratory health monitoring, migraine insights, GLP-1 tracking, real-time bio intelligence with Jade AI, and integrated mental health support with BetterHelp.
