Anyone who finds themselves wanting to spend less time preparing meals may have a solution, which was recently launched One nosh From Nosh Robotics, an AI kitchen appliance that can cook food for you autonomously.
All users need to do is load their ingredients into the robot’s tray and then select the recipe. Nosh One adds the ingredients to its bowl at the right time, stirs everything, uses AI to monitor the ingredients using a built-in camera, and completes the meal without requiring any intervention along the way. The Nosh app notifies users when the meal is ready. They can also use the app to view and edit recipes and schedule meals. Nosh One can prepare more than 500 dishes, but users can also add their own by describing what they want to cook using natural language and letting the robot’s AI create a recipe for them.
The chef robot is available for pre-order on Kickstarter, where it currently starts at $1,499. According to Nosh Robotics, it will start shipping this summer. Upgrades on Kickstarter include additional accessories and a lifetime subscription to Nosh’s Culinary+, which gives users access to all of the robot’s recipes and the ability to edit and create 50 recipes per year.
EdgeJennifer Pattison Toohey Browse a very similar bot Last year it was called Posha, which costs the same as the Nosh One, features an almost identical design, and also showcases AI-assisted cooking automation. However, the Nosh One has one important difference: a fully sealed cooking chamber that can be closed during cooking. Unlike the Posha, the Nosh One’s bowl and stirring arm are completely covered when the robot door is closed, which can help prevent splashes and fumes from escaping.
