Kalshi faces backlash from its users afterward Class action lawsuit A lawsuit was filed last week alleging that it failed to pay as promised regarding bets regarding when Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would leave or be removed from office. Khamenei was killed in raids on Iran last month, but according to the lawsuit, Kalci did not implement the “death exception” until after Khamenei’s death.

Meanwhile, Kalshi is said to be working on attracting more women to its platform in a bid to grow its user base. as Wall Street Journal Sunday’s report said that the percentage of women using CalShi has doubled over the past 10 months, rising from 13 percent to 26 percent of all CalShy users. According to Luana Lopez Lara, co-founder of Calci, this shift involves “catering to (female) interests and expertise in ways that traditional financial markets have not done.”
