In September, Apple unveiled its phone iPhone 17 Pro Line with its own color – a bright tangerine orange divides the CNET Newsroom between lovers and Haters. However, nearly half a year later, this color is still all over MWC 2026, suggesting that its fans have gone global.
From accessories to blatant copies of the iPhone 17 Pro Max itself, it looks like a shocking variety of products have been sampled. Exact apple color tone To spray on their devices. It’s as rude as an iPhone maker to choose to use such a blinding color.
Although the Anker Nano 45W Smart Display Charger was launched at CES, its orange colorway debuted at MWC 2026.
I first noticed the color when I walked into the hotel bar that accessories maker Anker had hired to showcase its new product line. While the TKTK recharging plug was unveiled at CES a month ago, Anker had it in bright orange for MWC. The charger was already charming with a cute robot appearing on its screen, but the bright orange color gave it an undeniable flair (and ensures you won’t lose it among the other monochromatic chargers).
The Titan 2 Elite has the keyboard and 4-inch display of a modern Android phone. BlackBerry fans, start your engines.
Then I wandered over to check out Unihertz Titan 2 Elitea smaller Android phone with a physical keyboard that looks like an homage to Blackberry phones of the past. It comes in black, of course, but also in an eye-catching orange, which deliberately made the small phone bolder. Obviously, orange adds attitude.
Here’s the iPhone 17 Pro Max (left) next to the Hotwav A17 Pro Max. They look like twins.
When I shared with the CNET team the pattern of orange colors I was seeing, they rolled their eyes when they told me I missed the more obvious devices that mimic Apple’s color. Not one phone maker, but several phone makers, were showing off phones that were a dead ringer for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, from the size and button design to the rear camera design. And of course, they wear the unmistakable orange.
So, yes, we saw some of the best phones at MWC that really impressed us, but we also saw some deliberate attempts to go the route Apple hit with the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s Cosmic Orange color. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, isn’t it? Hopefully not all those orange phones It turns pink like our iPhone did.
