Xiaomi is no stranger to showing off its luxury cars Mobile World CongressWith her SU7 EV From 2024 among the most important products at the exhibition.
to Mobile World Congress 2026the company has gone all out with a car that was literally pulled from the wild world of video games. The Vision GT electric car is designed to Gran Turismo 7the PlayStation 5 A racing game that features a wide range of extremely fast vehicles.
But instead of leaving the car as a digital asset for gamers to enjoy, Xiaomi built a version of it and had the courage to display it at the exhibition. I happened to be there with a camera so I could take pictures of the monster from all angles. Let’s take a closer look.
Seeing the GT from the front.
From the front, it’s unmistakably a supercar: massive air intakes, a low profile, and a massive carbon-fiber front splitter.
Vision GT front splitter.
No, but like truly Massive front splitter. Try not to drive this thing over big speed bumps.

From the front three-quarter angle, it’s easy to see the shape of the supercar, with that domed roof. Xiaomi said during its press conference that the car was “sculpted by the wind,” but I’m pretty sure some people were involved as well.
Vision GT wheels.
The wheels look amazing. They have these huge axles that somehow don’t turn when the wheel turns. Aside from ensuring the brand name is always visible, Xiaomi says this helps reduce drag by allowing air to flow through it more easily.
GT side view.
And here it is from the side. Xiaomi said that this is a concept car designed largely for the game, but it also requires a lot of effort to go into just to get the game assets, so perhaps the company is planning to create a few of them somewhere in the future.

From the back, it looks even cooler. It’s basically a huge opening designed to allow air to pass directly through it, reducing drag. The all-round LED brake lights are a nice touch. Just imagine being stuck behind this thing in traffic.
See the back side of the Vision GT.
I assume the back is steeply slanted for speed.
Vision GT wheel details.
The wheels have vents all around to help disperse wind and keep the brakes cool.
See the GT from the inside.
I wasn’t allowed to see inside the car, but a previous video played during a Xiaomi conference showed that it has an LED light that completely surrounds the driver. The seats are also designed to be round, almost like a sofa inside a car. At least, that’s how Xiaomi described it. From the outside, the car doesn’t look the most comfortable to travel in.

But at least it’s a polite vehicle, greeting you cheerfully as you approach. I like a friendly car.

Xiaomi did not reveal any other key details about the car, such as how much it might cost if it goes on sale. This is probably more than this tech journalist can handle, I think.
Sometimes it feels like a bit of a thrill to see concepts that don’t turn into products you can actually buy or use, but it’s still very exciting to see such a dramatic car in person.
