Xiaomi’s Leitzphone looks exactly like a Leica phone

the Leica Letzphone is powered by Xiaomi It is Xiaomi’s latest flagship Android phone, which this time is made in deep collaboration with the famous German camera manufacturer Leica. It’s arguably more of a camera than a phone, with a large main image sensor, a telephoto zoom that uses actual moving elements and a functional ring around the camera module that you can turn to control the zoom or other settings.

It’s packed with Leica-specific touches, from the red dot logo and “Leica Germany” engraving on the body to the camera’s Leica color profiles — the same ones you’ll find on actual Leica cameras.

It’s the best camera phone I’ve ever used, although at £1,700 in the UK, it’s not cheap. But then nothing has the Leica logo at all. It won’t officially go on sale in the US but its UK price translates to $2,300.
