Netflix can split up a season of Bridgerton almost as quickly as the words “be my mistress” can split two potential lovers, so fans have been waiting nearly a month for the second half of the fourth season of the Regency-era show.
Netflix has released the first part of season 4, the second part of the Colin and Penelope series Love story season three — last month, focusing on Colin’s artistic older brother, Benedict. Benedict met Sophie Pike, the maid who attended Masquerade ball In disguise. Although he was familiar with Sophie, he did not realize that she was the ‘Lady in Silver’ from the ball. That’s when you can complete your Season 4 binge, which draws from the third book in Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series.

You’ll spot plenty of familiar faces in the Season 4 cast, including main Bridgerton duo Anthony and Kate (Jonathan Bailey and Simon Ashley) and Colin and Penelope (Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan). The season also features Bridgerton siblings Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), Gregory (Will Tilston) and Francesca (Hannah Dodd), who married John Sterling (Victor Alley) last season, and family matriarch Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell).
More returning characters include Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh), Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel), Lord Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis), Will Mondrich (Martins Imangbe) and Alice Mondrich (Emma Naomi). In addition, there are Mrs. Farley (Lauren Ashbourne), Michaela Stirling (Masali Baduza), Brimsley (Hugh Sachs), and Portia Featherington (Polly Walker). Julie Andrews remains the voice of Mrs. Whistledown.
New characters include Sophie (Yrin Ha), the love interest of Benedict (Luke Thompson), the second eldest Bridgerton child. Sophie works for Mrs. Araminta Gunn (Katie Leung), who has two daughters making their debut on the marriage market, Rosamund (Michelle Mau) and Poussie (Isabella Wei).
