This new toilet won’t get you dirty. Cleans the entire bowl and rim in one flush

The toilet is jokingly called a ‘porcelain throne’, but how often does it make you feel like royalty? Especially when you have to wear gloves and go in there to clean everything that wasn’t washed when you cleaned? In an ideal world, flushing the toilet would clean out the entire bowl and the hard-to-reach rim, plus all your problems, but we all know that’s not the case.

The Aurora Washlet Plus Bidet Toilet uses new cleaning technology to clean the entire bowl and rim in one flush.

After in KBIS 2026our team discovered a new toilet from Japanese toilet manufacturer Toto, the Aurora Washlet Plus S7A one-piece toilet, which aims to increase bowl cleaning coverage by up to five times compared to standard gravity toilet systems. She intends to do this in one go.

How Aurora Washlet Plus keeps it clean

At KBIS, Toto unveiled its new integration system within the Aurora Washlet Plus. It is a gravity-driven dual-valve flush that uses rim washing and siphon jet action in sequence to keep your toilet bowl cleaner for longer. It also works in concert with Toto’s Tornado-style flushing system (which the company calls “the best flush in the industry”) and the Cefiontect ceramic bowl coating, which prevents mold and dirt from sticking, to clean all 360 degrees of the toilet in one flush.

Additional luxury features

In addition to its cleaning capabilities, the Toto Aurora Washlet Plus is designed to clean quietly with water efficiency. Each flush uses 1.0 or 1.28 gallons of water. According to the current US Environmental Protection Agency Federal standard It is 1.6 gallons per flush, which means this toilet uses at least 0.32 fewer gallons per flush.

The Aurora Washlet Plus also has an integrated bidet. If you are a bidet user, you know how difficult it is to keep the bidet stick clean, as well as the toilet bowl. To help with this, the Aurora Washlet Plus uses an electrolytic water cleaning agent called Ewater Plus to automatically clean the wand before and after each use, and Premist to spray the bowl before each use to prevent debris from sticking. The clean, stain-resistant resin material makes it easy for both the stick and toilet seat to stay clean.

Toto

Aurora Washlet Plus is named after the Northern Lights and is inspired by its calming power.

The only setback

The toilet is impressive but you will have to spend a lot of cash to get it.

While there is a lot to like about this toilet, there is one drawback: its cost $3,648 full price. You can drop that price to $2,418 if you opt for the Washlet S2 model instead of the Washlet S7A, but you’ll lose some features. Some retailers offer discounts, depending on your location, but paying thousands of dollars for a toilet is still a steep sum. However, as humans, we tend to spend a lot of time in our bathrooms, so if the future toilet can make our time there more efficient, it might be worth it.

The future of the toilet

Toilet designs like these make us believe that one day there will be a future where we will no longer have to clean our own toilets, and that He will do all the dirty work (literally) for us. These kind of features, especially at an accessible price, can turn the bathroom into a self-care-only space instead of another item to check off on our cleaning to-do lists. This is a future we can get behind.
