Today, Amazon released a new trailer for its upcoming game Black spider Starring Nicolas Cage as a depressed alternate Spider-Man. The film takes place in an alternate reality where it is still the 1930s. Black spider It follows private investigator Ben Reilly (Cage) as he returns to the crime-fighting game as the hero known as “Spider.” As the only superhero in his city, Riley knows he’s the only one with the skills to deal with threats like mob boss Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson). But as a man still reeling from personal tragedy, it is difficult for Riley to return to heroic events.
In addition to showing footage of club owner Cat Hardy (Lee Jun Lee) and reporter Robbie Robertson (Lamorne Morris), the black-and-white trailer (there’s also a color version, and the series will be broadcast in both directions) gives you a strong sense of the moody tone and dark aesthetic Black spider will tend to. For some reason, Amazon will premiere the show on MGM Plus on May 25 before it hits Prime Video on May 27.
