Best PlayStation 5 consoles in 2026: The best PS5 controllers from Sony, Razer, Nacon and more

If you’ve read our review of Razer Wolverine V3 ProYou’ll know it’s one of our favorite consoles. Well, late last year, Razer finally dropped its long-awaited PlayStation cousin, the Raiju V3 Pro. I was so excited about this controller, I was so disappointed with the Wolverine V2 Pro for PlayStation that I couldn’t recommend it to anyone in good conscience. That all changes with the Raiju V3 Pro.

Razer clearly heard customer feedback and has almost completely redesigned the Raiju V3 Pro. It carries all our favorite things from Wolverine, like Razer’s fantastic tactile mechanical buttons, eight-way floating D-pad, TMR thumbsticks (symmetrical, of course) with interchangeable caps, two-position triggers, and great ergonomics, too.

The four resettable rear buttons and two top bumpers are also here, but on the Raiju, Razer gives you the option to remove the rear paddles if you don’t want to be distracted by them. You also get extreme levels of software customization through the Razer Synapse app, which gives you almost complete control over your gaming experience.

My only complaints about the Raiju V3 Pro are the lack of a PS5 app to customize it (but that’s probably Sony’s fault anyway), the lack of PS4 support and the price. The regular Raiju V3 Pro is priced at $219, which is certainly expensive, but it’s in line with other pro models, and in my opinion, it’s worth every penny. It may not be the best for everyone, but it’s easily my favorite controller on this list.
