My favorite TV for watching the Winter Olympics is on sale

I was impressed by the screen’s strong glare reduction, which isn’t quite as strong as Samsung’s matte-screen models, but it delivers truer black levels for my money, resulting in deep contrast in any room.

It’s also a great TV for watching in large groups: I love its off-axis performance when standing at an odd angle from the screen, and it’s among the best I’ve ever experienced. This is especially useful for large TVs, allowing the entire cast to rotate around the screen without any noticeable loss of color or brightness from any position. Small touches like a solar-powered remote and Samsung’s improved Tizen interface make the TV easy to use as a daily driver.
