Fitbit is launching Luffu, an AI-powered health tracking system for the whole family

Luffu will allow families to track everyone’s doctor appointments, test results, vaccine records, medications, symptoms, diet, and more. The platform uses artificial intelligence to learn about your family’s health history and patterns, and to alert you of any changes that need to be addressed, such as missing medications or abnormal vital signs. The AI ​​function organizes the data provided to the system. The app will also connect to third-party apps and wearable devices, such as Fitbit.

Luffu aims to ease the mental burden of caring for a family by organizing all this health data in one place, the co-founder said.

“I was taking care of my parents from across the country, and trying to piece together my mother’s healthcare across various portals and providers, with the language barrier making it difficult to get full, timely context from her about doctor visits,” said James Park, co-founder of Luffu.

Luffu will include alerts and space to record health and medication information via voice, text, images, portals and other health devices. Key medical information can be shared via the platform with spouses, carers and parents.
