- Alexa Plus Chat: This new free option lets non-members experience Alexa Plus through the chat experience on Alexa.com and in the Alexa app. This is basically a chatbot where you can ask questions and do research, like ChatGPT or Claude. This level will be limited based on usage, Rausch says.
If you have Prime and use any of the Echo devices, Alexa Plus will arrive soon (or maybe… be there already) via software upgrade. You can also say “Alexa, upgrade to Alexa Plus” or sign in to your Amazon account at Alexa.com. Rausch says you can choose to opt out of the upgrade.
