We finally heard a message from Trump Mobile… and they immediately chased us down

Where is Trump’s phone? We will continue to talk about it every week. We reached out as usual to ask about the whereabouts of Trump’s phone. As usual, we are still waiting for a response. Meanwhile, I finally heard back from an executive at the company.

After months – Months – By emailing various official Trump Mobile accounts and press addresses, one person responded last week. Finally, Don Hendrickson, a member of the company’s executive team, responded to one of my emails and offered to speak with me, but has since ignored me.

Last week I mentioned Based on the unexpected news that Trump Mobile is working on a second Trump phone, the more powerful T1 Ultra. This information came from an old, discarded interview with Hendrickson Wireless Trader Magazine.

Hendrickson’s name is not new. He was one of three executives — along with Pat O’Brien and Eric Thomas — that Don Jr. and Eric Trump brought on stage for a small press conference at New York’s Trump Tower in June 2025 to announce the company. The Trump family has claimed that there are “hundreds of years” of experience in the cell phone industry between the three men, albeit an implausible one.

Hendrickson’s share of that experience is the most difficult to pinpoint. During the launch event, he was described as having worked in the cell phone industry since the days of pagers, but his actual resume is hard to find. I can only find One LinkedIn profile This could be it – a mostly blank slate of “wireless professional” – and no other public social media profiles or websites.

As for Hendrickson’s current work at Trump Mobile, Reuters He reported that he is the head of mobile operations at Trump Mobile, while Wireless Trader Magazine He knows him as the company’s president. In the interview, he himself claimed that he had the idea for the company, and that he turned to the Trump family to make it happen.

I found one lead. A Directory website It lists him as Executive Vice President of Sales at Liberty Mobile Wireless. This suddenly makes sense: If you remember, Liberty Mobile is MVNO is all about freedom This appears to support Trump Mobile – the Trump Network Online Terms of Use It states that it is “Powered by Liberty Mobile Wireless LLC.”

This has proven my socialism. The guide site itself lists an email address for Liberty Mobile, so I took my chances and sent him a message asking if he could confirm the details discussed in his November interview, and perhaps add more information about the T1 Ultra’s plans. If you’ve been following my reporting on Trump Mobile so far, you can probably guess that I never expected to receive a response (I’ve so far sent the company’s official press line 12 emails over five months and received no response).

Imagine my surprise when I received a response less than two hours later:

Dominic,

It’s a pleasure to meet you via this email, and yes, I’d love to talk to you about Trump Mobile and the T1 phone we’re bringing to market. I think it’s time for our voice to be heard.

Thanks,

Get excited

That was a little over a week ago, and those remain the only words anyone officially involved with Trump Mobile has said to me. I’ve sent Don three emails since then — I’m pretty sure I go against most dating advice on how to deal with being ghosted — but they’ve been ignored every time. I don’t know how to feel, having come tantalizingly close to a real conversation with a real human being who might have the answers to all my questions, only to have it all evaporate away.

“I think it’s time to let our voice be heard.”

I don’t know if Hendrickson still wants to talk, or if he still thinks it’s time to hear Trump Mobile. I don’t know if Pat O’Brien or Eric Thomas share his sentiments — I’ve tried contacting them, so far no responses. I don’t know why Hendrickson suddenly went silent, if he was dismayed or advised to stop chatting with reporters.

But hey, at least now I have a Trump Mobile address that I can email every week and know that someone is actually checking it.
