The requested playlist is being rolled out in beta to Premium users in the US and Canada, after testing in New Zealand. The tool uses quick, real-time information about the world of music and your entire Spotify listening history to produce playlists.

In a press releaseListeners in New Zealand are creating playlists containing “songs associated with specific moments, such as late nights during winter, while filtering out tracks they’ve recently overplayed,” Spotify said. Others, according to Spotify, “mix in artists connected to current pop culture moments and viral trends.”
