Asus is now claiming that it will not abandon the RTX 5070 Ti amid the memory shortage

• We are requesting samples of the RTX 5070 Ti from Asus (and other partners)
• An Asus PR representative checked, then came back and said they couldn’t supply the 5070 Tis due to supply constraints, saying their models were “end-of-life.”
• We ask Asus to clarify whether the RTX 5070 Ti is end-of-life. They assert that it is the end of life.
• We are reaching out to retailers to see if they can purchase RTX 5070 Ti stock for their stores, to verify Asus’ claims. They say there is no supply.
• Since we have received an official statement from Asus and confirmed the display restrictions with retailers, we are publishing a video with this information.
• Nvidia says all GeForce SKUs will ship.
• Asus reaches out to clarify that Nvidia told Asus that the RTX 5070 Ti is not end-of-life, but that Asus is working on “simplifying some models.”
• We publish this statement.
• Asus has reached out again with another statement (the third one we’ve received from Asus), which now states that the 5070 Ti is not discontinued or end-of-life. This directly contradicts the original statement.
• We are immediately ordering samples of the RTX 5070 Ti now that the cards have not been discontinued or end-of-life. We haven’t heard back yet.
