Bose’s first-generation QC Ultra headphones are back at their best price yet

Although Bose introduced a second-generation pair From QC Ultra in September, the original brands are offering many of the same premium features for $120 less, at least for now. It has an ergonomic design and foldable design that makes it ideal for long flights and road trips, as well as a commendable battery life of up to 24 hours. Most importantly, they offer best-in-class noise cancellation and a pleasant, balanced sound signature that maintains highs and lows even when you turn the volume back up. That’s in addition to a natural-sounding Transparency mode designed to drown out outside noise and an Immersive Sound feature, which, although still hit or miss, can offer new depth to defining tracks.

If you decide to go with the first-generation model instead of the latest pair of headphones from Bose, you’ll only be giving up a few fairly frequent updates. QC Ultra headphones (2nd generation) – which are also on sale for $50 off Amazon, Best buyand B&H Photos — It lets you get a bit longer battery life (30 hours vs. 24 hours), supports lossless audio over USB-C, and features an improved transparency mode. It also supports Bluetooth 5.4 and a new Cinema Mode designed to bring dialogue to the forefront, although for most people, we’d say none of the features are worth spending the extra $120 for.
