everyone Previous versions of Link webcams for Insta360 It used half-inch sensors, but the company says the new 1/1.3-inch sensors offer “significant low-light performance gains” and “deliver clearer, brighter, and more detailed video in all lighting conditions.” We didn’t have a chance to test these claims ourselves, but larger sensors are usually a welcome upgrade. However, video resolution remains the same, with both the Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro maxing out at 4K/30fps, or up to 60fps at 1080p.

Insta360 says both webcams also feature “the most advanced webcam audio system to date” that combines two microphones — one directional and one omnidirectional — with AI-powered noise cancellation. There are four sound pickup modes to choose from: a standard option with ANC, a natural mode where sound processing is disabled, an enhanced setting for groups of speakers, and an option that can isolate an individual in a noisy environment.

Current features in development include hand gesture controls to initiate tracking and adjust framing, background blur, green screen replacement, and a whiteboard mode that maintains framing on a large board full of notes. What’s more, Insta360 offers Elgato Stream Deck support so you can adjust settings like exposure and white balance with button clicks, quickly activate AI-powered features, or control multiple Link webcams simultaneously. Stream Deck support will also come to the Link 2 and Link 2C webcams.
