Microsoft is making it easier to add hyperlinks in Word documents


Microsoft is making it much faster and easier to add links to text within Word documents. Instead of having to open a menu item to insert a link or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+K, you can now simply paste a link on top of the text you want to hyperlink.

this New feature It reduces the number of clicks you need to do an everyday task like linking URLs, and works across Word for the web, Windows, and Mac. It’s similar to the way WordPress and many other content management systems and text editors allow you to quickly insert links. Now we’re waiting for Google Docs to join the club.

Microsoft is rolling out this feature to all Word for the web users and you’ll need Word for Windows version 2511 or later, and Word for Mac version 16.104 or later.
