Anker, under its sub-brand Nebula, has unveiled the P1i portable projector designed to be an all-in-one party in a box. Consumer Electronics Show 2026.
While Anker has plenty of options for wall-sized images Impromptu movie nightsThe P1i has a clever trick: the speakers can be folded at a 90-degree angle, giving them a kind of elephant-ear aesthetic.
Not only do the speakers on the P1i fold outward, but they also swivel up to 200 degrees. So, depending on where you’re sitting, you can direct it towards you. Better yet, if there are people in front of and behind the projector, each “ear” can rotate independently. This overcomes a common problem with portable projectors where the speakers are not facing where the audience is sitting. Each speaker has 10 watts of power, which is similar to the speakers found in other projectors in this price range.
Inside is Google TV, which means it has the full versions of Netflix and other apps. The screen resolution is 1080p, but that’s okay for the price. I took a look at the P1i at the show, and although it hasn’t been confirmed, the lens looks similar to the TCLA1which means that there is likely no upside throw. This means getting a perfectly rectangular image without using Cornerstone correctionthe monitor must be the same height as the middle of the screen. Since I assume the P1i will be mostly used with a random wall and not a dedicated monitor, this will probably be fine. There is a small retractable base at the bottom to help tilt the front of the projector up.
Brightness is 380 ANSI lumens, and while that’s not a lot, it should be enough for a TV-sized picture.
Anker expects the P1i to launch in early 2026 for around $369.
