Sony’s new PS5 “Hyperpop” skins are filled with RGB colours

Sony’s first PlayStation ad of 2026 is all about colours. New Hyperpop group Includes colorful console and controller covers that add a pop of color to your PS5.

There are three colors available: Tech Red, Remix Green, and Rhythmic Blue (RGB!). All three are very different from the controller covers Sony has shipped for the PS5 so far, and they certainly look like they fit in well with the RGB lights. Sony says the set is designed with RGB in mind and will “take over” your room. “These new colors are inspired by the glow of the RGB lights of your awesome gaming setups, and they sound loud in the best possible way,” says Leo Cardoso, from Sony’s Color, Materials and Finishes Design team.

The Hyperpop Collection will launch on March 12, with pre-orders starting at 10 a.m. local time on January 16 at Sony Store. PlayStation Live Location and retailers. The PS5 controller skins are priced at $74.99 and are only available in limited quantities, and the DualSense controllers are priced at $84.99.
