The new Merach Treadmill’s AI trainer uses your heart rate to adjust your running speed

Merach, the home fitness equipment company, unveiled the new UltraTread T70 Aura in Consumer Electronics Show 2026. UltraTread uses an AI-powered trainer and was designed with professional joint protection in mind. If you are used to exercising on TreadmillYou know it can be tough on your joints, and sometimes it’s hard to know what pace to stick to when running or jogging.

The built-in AI trainer, which the company says is the first of its kind, not only communicates with the runner, but also personalizes their workouts and adjusts the treadmill speed and incline based on changes in heart rate. To get a heart rate reading, the UltraTread pairs with your Apple Watch (the only watch Fitness tracker It is currently compatible with), which connects to an AI function that ensures users stay within optimal heart health zones. This gives the runner peace of mind that it is working efficiently and safely.

Merach developed its own KneeGuard triple-layer suspension system that absorbs 49 times more impact and returns 66% more energy. This shock absorption reduces joint stress, which runners often experience. This type of technology is primarily used in professional gyms by elite athletes, but Merach has now made it more accessible to the average consumer.

The Merach UltraTread T70 Aura is expected to be available for purchase later this year and will retail for between $1,200 and $2,000, depending on the model’s drive size and display options.
