This limited edition tablet is the closest thing you’ll get to a Hideo Kojima computer

Asus is no stranger to Weird but badass limited editions From her A unique gaming tabletand at CES 2026, it’s teaming up with Kojima Productions for its best look yet. The Asus ROG Flow Z13 x Kojima Productions Edition takes last year’s excellent AMD Strix Halo-equipped gaming tablet and dresses it up with a Yoji Shinkawa design, with a gold and black metallic color scheme and a carbon fiber back cover.

The tablet and its kickstand are decorated with angular, geometric lines reminiscent of the bold mechanical futuristic technology seen in Stranded death Games, as well as the design language of the Kojima Productions mascot Playing. It also has military-tech-style warnings and slogans printed on it, ranging from “Do not cover the vent” to “For Ludens who dare” — a play on ROG’s slogan, “For those who dare.”

The KJP version includes a white hard case, and there is also a white headset, mouse and desk mat sold separately (or bundled in some countries). The ROG Flow Z13-KJP will launch in mid-to-late Q1 2026. There’s no pricing yet, but availability should be finalized closer to that. Asus representatives told me that exclusive versions for the Kojima Productions team are being created, which will feature a special keyboard with metal keycaps.

I didn’t touch either Stranded death game, but part of me wants this tablet. I loved the ROG Flow Z13 when I reviewed it last year, and seeing Yoji Shinkawa’s iconic style everywhere puts a giant exclamation mark over my head.
