What’s cooler than cool? Ice cold. What’s cooler than that? Ice that is made in 5 minutes or less. No, that’s not a typo – that’s how fast Euhomy’s new home ice maker is, launching this week in Consumer Electronics Show 2026Makes cubes of frozen water. And I saw him in action.
We keep track of everything Latest news and launches from CES, And complaining about the world’s fastest home ice maker made me rush to take a peek.
Euhomy’s new Leopard ice maker holds a new land speed record.
In a hotel suite in Mandalay Bay, before the big consumer technology show in Las Vegas, a representative of the small appliance brand poured tap water into the tank of the Ice Leopard X1. The small, stylish machine looks more like a coffee maker than an ice maker, thanks to its circular, insulated bucket. It’s also small – about half the size of a traditional home ice maker.
As promised, in less than 5 minutes (yes, I timed it), I heard a bullet drop into the 2.2 liter chamber. Bulletproof ice is the easiest type of ice to make quickly. However, the Euhomy model produces a full 3 minutes faster than any other home ice maker on the market.
It takes about an hour to completely fill the tub (measured in ounces), but when is time essential to get extra ice at a party or happy hour at home — and when isn’t it? – Euhomy makes hosting less stressful. Better yet, the insulated bucket keeps the ice frozen for up to 4 hours without any electricity.
Euhomy’s line of ice makers has features we haven’t seen yet.
But Leopard isn’t the only Euhomy ice maker unveiled at CES. The brand also offers a sleek automatic ice maker: the Rock Pro Sphere. This model produces three perfectly clear, smooth balls of ice in about 90 minutes.
Another model, the Rock Plus Square, produces blocks of ice—perfect for cocktails—that are even, smooth, and translucent, and does so in about 30 minutes for three blocks.
Euhomy spherical ice makers produce beautiful balls of ice – perfect for sipping wine.
The full line of ice makers will be available in April. The Leapord X1 portable ice maker will retail for $150. Both square and ball ice makers cost $200.
