SwitchBot’s new E Ink display looks great for weather nerds

One of the most interesting SwitchBot products was announced in Consumer Electronics Show 2026 It is one of the simplest. The Weather Station, as it’s called, is a 7.5-inch e-ink display filled with weather-related data. Its interface displays information including the date, time, weather, six-day forecast, sunrise and sunset times, as well as metrics collected by built-in sensors, such as indoor temperature and humidity.

There is an AI component in the Weather Station that can be accessed via one of the buttons along the bottom bezel. Based on the weather report, it can provide AI-powered insights and recommendations, as well as the ability to create “aspirational weather quotes,” in case you need them to get through your day.

In addition to displaying the weather, the weather station can serve as a calendar display. It offers cross-platform calendar sync, although SwitchBot doesn’t mention compatible platforms. If you own a SwitchBot hub, you’ll be able to switch scenes (control different connected devices via Matter, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Apple Home) with the Weather Station.

Pricing and availability for the weather station have not been shared ahead of CES 2026.
