Narwal’s Flow 2 robovac may help you find the earring you lost

Narwal’s successor to clear edges Robovac stream hereit features an updated design along with a new cleaning mode that can scan your floor to mark valuables that may have fallen off, such as jewelry, phone, key, wallet, and more. When the Flow 2 detects one of these items, the robovac will maintain a distance of at least 5cm to prevent it from being vacuumed.

robovac will also send a notification to the Narwal app containing a photo of the item and its location on a map of your home. Narwal says the Flow 2’s built-in AI system allows for “infinite” object recognition using dual RGB cameras that capture a 136-degree field of view. It looks pretty neat, although unfortunately you can’t send Flow 2 on a quest to find a specific item.

The Flow 2 also offers cleaning modes focused on your pets and kids, where the robovac can provide reminders when it detects misplaced toys, avoid crawl mats and enter Quiet mode when you approach your baby’s bed. It can locate your pet while you’re away too, as well as detect and deep clean areas where your furry friend is hanging out.

Aside from these new features, the Narwal Flow 2 comes with several upgrades, including up to 30,000 Pa of suction (an increase from 22,000 Pa on the original Flow) and 158°F hot water mopping. Similar to its predecessor, the Narwal Flow 2 offers two different types of docking stations: one with only a water tank and another with an automatic refill and drain function. The main difference is that the Flow 2 docking stations now come with a reusable dust bag, as well as a washable and disposable debris filter.

The Flow 2 will launch in April 2026, but there’s no word on pricing yet.
