Govee is known for placing lights in every corner of your room: in lamp sockets, in the corner for multi-color bias lighting, and even behind the TV with scene-matching LED strips. And it has some weird ads in it Consumer Electronics Show 2026 Which addresses a new part of the room: the ceiling. Govee has announced the Sky Ceiling Light and Ceiling Light Ultra.
The Sky Ceiling Light, shown above, is designed to mimic daylight, to provide the illusion that you have a great view of the outdoors. Govee envisions this as a worthwhile addition to windowless spaces, saying it has “enhanced white light performance” that can create a “soothing and cheerful atmosphere” wherever you choose to install it. The company says it uses custom LEDs to enhance the realism of color transitions from daylight to sunset. The lights can range from 2700K to 6500K, with a maximum brightness of 5200 lumens at a color temperature of 6500K. Pricing and availability have not been announced.
Ceiling Light Ultra is described as “the industry’s first ceiling light designed to be a true creative canvas.” Govee touts that this model features 616 individually controllable RGB LEDs, which it claims are among the highest LED densities in this category. It’s a light that can display over 20 lighting effect presets as well as your own creativity. It feels like a larger, more capable version of the small screen found on the original HomePod. The Govee app features AI Lighting Bot 2.0, which turns your text prompts into lighting arrangements that can be displayed on this model. There is no pricing or availability information for this product either.
