You have a public profile on Reddit. Here’s how to organize it

To start making changes to what’s visible, click an option to update The buttons are on the right. the Introductory account and Avatar The options lead to options like your display name and photo on Reddit, the social links you’ve displayed on your profile, and how you want Reddit to notify you about activity on the platform.

Switch to privacy tab on the Settings screen and you’ll get some control over how visible your profile is. You have options to hide your profile from searches, choose whether or not people can follow your activity on Reddit, and control who can send you chat requests. If you want, you can turn off chat requests completely.

To access the new settings that Reddit has just added, click to update next to Organize your profile On your actual profile page, or if you’re already on the main Settings screen, open Introductory account tab and scroll down to Organize your profile. Note that these options only affect what is visible on your profile, and do not affect the posts and comments themselves.

You can access these same settings through Reddit’s official app Android or iOS also. Tap your profile avatar in the upper-right corner of any screen, then choose Organize your profile To access new options, or Settings To configure every aspect of your Reddit experience (including your display name and profile picture).

There are two toggle switches in the organization settings: NSFWIf enabled, it will hide all NSFW content from your profile, i.e. anything you’ve posted or any comments you’ve left on subreddits that are marked as adult (not appropriate for work).
