Apple Fitness Plus starts the new year with workout programs to motivate you in 2026


Just in time for the new year, Apple Fitness Plus has announced new additions to its exercise catalogue. Starting January 5, subscribers will be able to enjoy the latest workout programs designed to help you get back into your workout routine, plus two new episodes of Time to Walk, guest trainers and artist spotlights.

It includes three exercises per week, focusing on different parts of the body each week so you can learn exercise technique and form.

Back Strength and HIIT: The Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT program offers three 20-minute workouts, combining these two popular workout types together for 10 minutes of strength and 10 minutes of HIIT. You will be able to enjoy these workouts three times a week for three weeks.

Build a yoga habit in 4 weeks: This program is designed for individuals who want to incorporate yoga into their fitness routine on a more regular basis. They will have access to two 10-minute streams each week.

Additionally, members will get help maintaining consistency by having the option to create a more personalized experience through pre-scheduled and custom plans. These plans will allow members to program workout days, preferred form of workout, workout duration, preferred music, and trainers.

Other 2026 Apple Fitness Plus additions

On mobile, the Fitness Plus app is pulled up, highlighting artists like Karol G.

For those who like to highlight artists, they can look forward to listening to Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Karol G during their rehearsals. On February 2, in time for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, members can enjoy Bad Bunny’s string of lights.

If you’re listening to the Apple Fitness Plus series Time to Walk, new episodes will feature actors Michelle Monaghan, Penn Badgley, and musical artist Mel B. And if you’re also a fan of Fitness Plus’ workout guest series, you can expect popular social creator Allie Bennett to host a treadmill workout, dancers and twin brothers Luke and Paul Harwerth to take part in a dance workout, and cookbook author Remy Park to lead a yoga workout.

Apple watch and AirPods Pro 3 Users will be able to view their personal metrics on screen during workouts.
