Aura Frame Sale (2025): From Aura Carver to Aura Ink

One of my own My favorite things to give as a gift is a digital photo frame. It’s fun for all ages, whether it’s my parents enjoying old photos they uploaded or my 3-year-old screaming, “That’s me!” When his image is transferred to the screen. Aura Frames in particular are nice to look at and easy to use.

Aura digital picture frames come in a variety of styles, from the affordable Carver frame meant for landscapes only to the gorgeous e-paper ink frame that can be wirelessly mounted to your wall. Aura also has a full line of their mat-style frames which are my personal favorite, and which I find myself recommending again and again. No matter which frame style you choose, you’ll get the Aura app with unlimited photo storage, compatibility with iCloud and Google Photos, the ability to invite anyone to add photos to the frame through the app or the new text-to-frame feature.

Plus, every Aura frame we love currently has some sort of discount, some as low as $60. Here are all of our favorites and what kind of sales they’re seeing before the holiday season is over.

Aura matte frames are just as the name suggests – they have a mat-style frame to give them a high-end look for a beautifully framed photo. It’s my favorite model and you can find it in three sizes, from the 10-inch Carver to the larger 15-inch Walden. The larger Walden and Aspen sizes (12 inches) have a flat back and can be wall-mounted and rotated to sit in the horizontal or vertical position, while the Carver can only sit in the horizontal position on a tabletop. Carver Mat and Walden have the best discount of $30.

Even though the cheaper Carver base isn’t on sale, the Special Edition Stone Finish is on sale and is even cheaper than the regular Carver since it has a whopping $60 off the price on the Aura website (although it’s only $10 off the price we normally see on Amazon, but Amazon also only has one stone color option while the Aura website has two). It’s everything we love about Carver, but with a “stone-inspired” finish that has a more organic, upscale look. The Stone is the cheapest frame you can buy right now from Aura.

If you like the idea of mounting your Aura frame but don’t want to hang the power cord underneath, Aura Ink is for you. It uses an e-paper screen so it can run off a battery that lasts about three months, depending on how often it has to change images. The default setting is once a day, and while this seems like a bit much compared to the Aura’s always-changing frames, it’s actually a really nice experience to put your best photos on the frame and enjoy them for an entire day. It’s the Aura’s most expensive frame, but it has the most interesting technology and is $50 off at the moment.
