No, but the game is made up of members of the development team, according to an interview with Hudson on starwars.com.

“When we developed the original KOTOR, we wanted to create the ultimate Star Wars experience – crafting an adventure comprised of all the things we dreamed of doing as Star Wars fans,” Hudson said. “Now, 25 years after we started working on this game, our aspirations are just as ambitious.” He said Fate of the Old Republic will provide player agency and Star Wars immersion at the heart of KOTOR.
