Supergirl debuts an action-packed trailer for DC’s Rebooted Universe

new Supergirl movie trailerreleased Thursday, highlights the differences between Kara Zor-El, played by Millie Alcock, and her cousin Superman, played by David Corenswet.

“He sees the good in everyone,” Alcock says in the new two-minute preview. “And I see the truth.”

Supergirl is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 26.

The film is directed by Craig Gillespie, who directed Anna, Tonya, and Cruella, and written by Ana Nogueira.

Not much has been revealed about the plot, but the official description hints at the action ahead.

“When an unexpected and cruel adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic interstellar journey of vengeance and justice,” the description reads.
