Anthropic is hiring lawyers as it prepares to go public

Anthropic is preparing for an initial public offering that could come as early as 2026. Financial Times reports.

It has enlisted the help of law firm Wilson Sonsini to help begin the process, and the company is processing an internal checklist to prepare it for what could be one of the largest initial public offerings ever.

The company is also reportedly looking to raise a financing round that could value it at more than $300 billion, and is in talks with investment banks, though it has not chosen an underwriter, the Financial Times reported.
