Apple Music Replay 2025 is here

Apple announced Tuesday that it will roll out Apple Music Replay, its answer to Spotify’s popular Wrapped feature. Apple Music Replay allows users to take a look back at their year in music by highlighting the best songs, artists and albums they’ve streamed.

This year, the feature includes more listening habits, including a “Discovery” section, which highlights new artists users have listened to, and “Loyalty,” which highlights artists users have continued to return to each year. Additionally, the “Returning” section highlights artists who have returned to users’ listening rotation.

Users will also be able to see their total minutes listened to on the streaming service, the total number of artists they’ve listened to, their longest artist streak, their favorite genres, and more.

The Apple Music Replay dashboard can be accessed via the Home tab of the music streaming service.

In addition to the Yearly Replay feature, users can revisit Monthly Replay highlights and view yearly recaps from each year spent on Apple Music. They can also listen to their “Replay All Time” playlist to hear the songs they’ve played the most since joining the service.

As for artists, they will have access to new metrics such as listener growth and year-over-year performance summaries. As in previous years, they will be able to see metrics such as total listeners, countries, cities, and minutes.

Apple also announced that the top song of 2025 on Apple Music is “APT” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. Kendrick Lamar and SZA followed at number two with “Luther.” Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars rounded out the top three with “Die With A Smile.” Fourth place went to the movie “Not Like Us” directed by Kendrick Lamar, and Billie Eilish took fifth place for the movie “Birds of a Feather.”

Apple Music Replay comes a week after the launch of YouTube Summaries 2025 And on the same day Amazon Music released its annual summaries. The companies’ end-of-year features arrived before Spotify — likely in hopes of making a jump in music-related social media engagement.
