Even for the hefty price, the sound quality on the AirPods Max is nothing short of amazing. Active noise cancellation is also very strong, with transient mode accurate and clear.
As long as you’re in the Apple ecosystem, it has an impressive level of features and excellent coordination between devices. Like most AirPods, simply hold them close to your iPhone or iPad and they’ll connect instantly, without the need for extensive pairings or app installations. Since it’s always running in a low-power state, you can remove it from its small case or place it on your head, and it will connect to the nearest iOS device and start playing. It’s a cool trick, but it always drains the battery slowly, so you might find it dead if you don’t use it for a long time.
Although there are discounts on headphones from time to time, this is to my knowledge the lowest price yet for the updated USB-C model.
