I like to think that Eevee and its eight evolutions are the perfect Pokemon for the streets of the French-themed city of Lumiose, which is the place to be. Pokemon Legends: ZA. Each one has a unique shape, type and method of development. Fortunately, the game doesn’t make it too difficult to get each one of them. So, whether you’re trying to complete your Pokedex or just want to add your favorite Eeveelution to your team, here’s how to do it.
Unlike previous games, Pokemon Legends ZA doesn’t clear guardrails quickly. Before you can freely roam the streets of Lumiose in search of an Eevee of your own, you’ll need to meet Emma, a detective, at the Looker Bureau – this happens during Main Mission 5 – and unlock side quests.
Then find your way to Vert Sector 9 during the day to capture the Eevee; Since it is a fixed spread site, you are sure to find one here.
Sector Vert 9 ensures Eevee production.
The easiest way to get to Vert Sector 9 is to head to the Vernal Pokemon Center. It is located on Vernal Avenue just south of the Centrico Plaza travel area. Once you get to the Pokemon Center, enter the alley just before the hair salon and follow the path until you see an arched gate. It’s opposite the Battle Court. There may be rocks blocking your way forward, so bring a Pokemon with fighting moves (preferably Rock Smash or Brick Break) to get past them. Then head to the park area and you will find yourself Evie.
Eevee can be found in this park during the day.
This Eevee will be around level 16. It’s not fickle, so it won’t disappear as soon as it spots you, but its catch rate is lower. Stock up on Poke Balls and consider bringing along a Pokémon that can paralyze Eevee or make him sleepy to increase your chances of catching it.
There are a few other locations where you can catch Eevee, but this one is easy to find. I also prefer it because of its proximity to the Vernal Pokemon Center, which is a fast travel place.

Jolteon is a fast attacker that will make your Pokemon battles seem like a breeze.
With so much variety to choose from, choosing Eeveelutions for your team of six can be difficult. However, to gain an advantage in Pokemon Legends: ZA’s Real time battlesyou’ll want your Pokemon to have high speed stats. This will shorten the cooldown between attacks and increase your chances of winning battles.
Jolteon fits this description exactly, and it’s true The special attack stats are also high (Great for moves like Thunderbolt and Discharge) It will mean you have a powerful Electric type attack on your team. There are a few other powerful electric types in the game, but Jolteon will definitely come in handy for the first part of the story and is easy to obtain, as you’ll read later.
Looking beyond Jolteon, Espeon, a psychic type, and Sylveon, a fairy type, are also options to consider. Aspion has Balanced distribution Via special attack, special defense and speed statistics. And Sylveon makes himself reliable by focusing on him Attack stats (high special attack) and stamina (high special defense and moderate HP).which can compensate for its slow speed.
Once you have an Eevee (or eight of them to get one of each evolution), review the list below to understand how to evolve them.
Pokemon Legends: ZA doesn’t make it too difficult to find Evolution Stones, which are the items you’ll need to evolve a particular Pokemon. You can find them as ground items throughout Lumiose City, obtain them as rewards for completing side quests, or purchase them from the Stone Emporium for 3,000 Pokemon Dollars.
Vaporeon is a reliable Water-type Pokémon that evolved from Eevee.
Fire, Water, Thunder, and Leaf stones are available for purchase in the Stone Emporium from the beginning. However, the Ice Stones (required for Glaceon) only become available there after you beat the main story.
In case you want to use Glaceon during the main story, you can find the Ice Stone in Rouge Sector 4. We’ve added a screenshot of the map below to show where you can find it. You can also find one in Lumiose Sewers (accessible during main quest 19) or get it as a reward for completing side quest 102.
Climb above the shopping plaza in Rouge Sector 4 to find the Ice Stone.
Note that Side Mission 102 can be initiated by interacting with a Trainer NPC in Wild Zone 12. This Trainer NPC appears after your visit to Lysandre Laboratories in Main Mission 35.
Eevee evolves into Umbreon during the night.
Unlike the five Eeveelutions that require evolution stones, to get the other three – Espeon, Umbreon, or Sylveon – you must have a high friendship level with your Eevee.
To address this issue, call Eevee from the Poke Ball and visit any café for four cups of coffee. You’ll have to go through the game screens four different times – and spend 1,000 Pokemon Dollars – but you’ll leave with an Eevee ready to evolve.
To get Espeon and Umbreon, make sure it’s the right time of day and that your Eevee doesn’t know any magic moves before selecting the Evolve option. To get Sylveon, make sure Eevee has learned a Fairy-type move.
You can pick up alpha forms of some Eeveelutions in Wild Zone 20.
One last thing: If you want to add some Alpha Eeveelutions to your collection, Pokemon Legends: ZA makes that possible. Once you’ve completed the main story, visit Wild Zone 20 to find alpha versions of Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafon, Glaceon, and Sylveon under the Prism Tower. You’ll have to reset your deployments a few times before you find one, but as we said on our site Catching Gengar GuideThe wait may seem long, but it’s worth it because you’ll start out with amazing stats without having to do any kind of special training.
