Hotto has a new one Cordless leaf blower This continues the company’s trend of redesigning electrical gadgets so that they look more at home in an Apple store — or in a sci-fi movie — than a Home Depot. It is available now from Hutu online store For $239.99 or more Amazonwhich is discounted from $249.99 to $189.99.
As with previous offerings from Hoto, including the equipped screen PixelDrive electric screwdriverThe leaf blower has a simple design with a 4000mAh battery at the end of the thin handle that helps balance the blower.
There are three speed settings ranging from 480 to 720 cubic feet per minute (CFM), and at maximum power, the leaf blower can generate a blast of up to 120 mph, theoretically guaranteed to send piles of wet leaves flying into your neighbor’s yard. But don’t expect to spend all day cleaning up the mess at full capacity. Battery life is rated at up to 30 minutes at 480CFM, dropping to just four minutes at 720CFM.
For larger messes, the blower has an adjustable siphon tube that slides back and forth to reduce wind speed while increasing the volume of air being blown out. Hoto says the entire device weighs just 2.93 pounds, but that’s without the battery attached, so you can expect to gain at least an extra pound while using it.
Instead of a dedicated charger, the blower’s battery can be recharged using a standard USB-C cable. If you pair it with a 100-watt inverter, you only have to wait about 40 minutes for the battery to return to 80 percent capacity.
