When I tried Half-Life: Alex I was impressed by streaming from PC to Valve’s new Steam Frame VR headset; Thanks to Frame’s dedicated wireless adapter and a neat trick that Valve calls “live streaming,” I didn’t detect any latency while exploring an industrial building and fighting some head cancers.
But the Frame also has an Arm chip inside it, which means it can run games natively. While I wasn’t able to play test it Half-Life: Alex In this way, based on comments Valve has given to other publications, it seems that Valve is optimistic that it may be able to make the game work well when played independently.
“Half-Life: Alex It’s a great experience when streamed from PC to Steam Frame, and we’re looking forward to making it a good standalone experience as well. Valve said Digital Foundry. and according to DownloadVR“The valve representatives think they can get it Half-Life: Alex Run the performance independently, but they haven’t promised to do so yet, and there’s clearly still a lot of work to be done.
Fingered valve finds a way to make this happen. I actually never played Half-Life: AlexAnd if I get Steam Frame, I’ll definitely want to try running it standalone.
