The Hyperice Normatec Recovery Shoes are a favorite among athletes, but the downside is that you have to stay in place while using them. Hyperboots contain the same air compression technology found in Normatecs, but in a high-quality wearable design, from Nike. You can get a foot massage while washing the dishes.

Each shoe provides three levels of pressure and heat (up to 125°F), adjustable via a built-in control panel. The two automatically sync when worn together, and battery life is about 90 minutes per charge. It’s IP54 rated, which means it’s dust and splash resistant, but not waterproof.

References Christine Canning She tested the shoe on her way home after a day of snowboarding and said it was a game-changer. She can work off the lactic acid and thaw her toes before she goes home. Although they are recovery shoes, they have a warm-up mode that makes them quite useful before workouts to get the blood flowing.

Canning noted that the air pumps make an airplane-like sound, but it’s not too overwhelming. If you’ve already purchased your season pass and are practicing single-leg squats and hip rotations, there’s no better time to grab a pair of shoes that will keep your legs fresh all March long.
