A group of friends get into a car accident, accidentally killing someone and then covering it up. One year later, a vengeful killer knows what they did and targets every one of them, you know, because of the consequences. That’s the premise of the film I Know What You Did Last Summer, starring a group of young actors including Madeleine Cline, Chase Sue Wonders, and Jonah Hauer-King, as well as two male leads. the elderly Faces – Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt, who played terrified teens in the 1997 original. (The original isn’t on Netflix right now, but its sequel, 1998’s I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, is. Because these movies fall into the “teen screams” category, they’re still good for serious thrills.)
