Apple is working on a low-cost Mac laptop powered by the iPhone chip, and plans to launch it in the first half of 2026. according to Bloomberg. The laptop will also have a “lower-end LCD display” and a screen size that is “slightly lower” than the 13.6-inch display on the current MacBook Air. The laptop will sell for ‘well under $1,000’ Bloomberg Reports, the price of the laptop “will fall in a similar range” as the roughly $600 cost of the entry-level iPad and Magic Keyboard Folio.
