Those looking to give the gift of Google should love the Google TV Streamer 4K. It’s not quite as good as the Roku Express 4K Plus, but this streaming stick comes closer than any other device on the market. It beats Roku by adding Dolby Vision Compatibility, but the biggest strength of smart devices is Google Assistant’s voice search, which works well for finding things to watch.

We also like the amazing integration with other Google services, like Google Photos and YouTube TV. The interface has a more sophisticated look than Roku’s, but we ultimately prefer Roku’s simpler style and no-nonsense search results. However, Google’s media streaming device is a better smart streaming option for those who already live in Google’s world.
