If you’re a fan of pop culture or movies, you’ve probably heard some of the lore behind the scariest movies Horror movies Ever. But there are details and stories behind these films – some of which revolve around the devil or evil spirits, adding to the mythology – that are much scarier than you might realize, and they’re all revealed in the Cursed Films series (available at AMC Plus). Each episode of the show, which was first released in 2020, focuses on one movie. The first season contains episodes based on the aforementioned films, as well as The Exorcist and The Crow. Season 2 features movies like Rosemary’s Baby, Stalker, and more.
I love creepy coincidences and creepy stories, and each episode of Cursed Films delves into the real details behind some of the tragic disasters and creepy events that plague these horror films. The evidence is enough to suggest that, if you’re willing to believe it, there may be sinister forces at work on these movie sets. I don’t consider myself to be very superstitious, but at a certain point, you have to keep in mind that maybe making a movie like The Omen, about a kid who is the Antichrist, has actually attracted some bad magic. The series leaves it up to us, the viewers, to draw our own conclusions.
The second episode focuses on The Omen, and features several people who were on set and involved in the production of the film.
