This limited edition Game of Thrones phone is the coolest item I’ve seen in 2025

game of thrones It was a cultural phenomenon in its infancy, and it seems to still be generating a lot of interest. That’s why, six years after the show ended, Chinese phone maker Realme has teamed up with Warner Bros. Discovery for providing us with a phone that looks like it came straight from Westeros. Instead of just adding a theme to the user interface or making some design changes, the two companies transformed Mid-range smartphone A unique collector’s piece.

Unlike modern smartphones Realme 15 Pro Limited Edition Game of Thrones Screams premium (and royalty) from its packaging. It’s full of Easter eggs from the show. You get a gift box made of walnut with metal trim, which features eye-catching design elements like sigils of all nine houses of Westeros and a metal plaque bearing the GOT branding.

I was actually amazed by the packaging, but I wasn’t prepared for what was to come.

Opening the box reveals a stunning 3D iron throne, designed to hold the phone. Once you look beyond that superior craftsmanship, you’ll be transported to an inlaid map of Westeros with introductions to Houses Stark and Targaryen. It brings the grandeur and drama that GOT fans have come to expect.

The SIM eject tool is my favorite. It is designed to look like a brooch worn by the hand of a king.

My favorite is the custom SIM ejector tool, which is inspired by Tyrion Lannister and designed to look like a king’s hand pin. Other phone accessories include a case, an 80W charger, and a USB-A to USB-C cable. In addition, there are a few posters and four postcards with images of Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Arya Stark, and Tyrion Lannister.

This is the perfect combination of art and innovation

Each camera lens features a distinctive gold ring with different engravings. The main lens is engraved with House Stark’s famous phrase “Winter is Coming,” while the color sensor ring below features the song “Hear Me Roar” by House Lannister. Moving towards the bottom of the camera module, you’ll find another stylish ‘Fire and Blood’ engraving.

Having too much text can sometimes take away from the charm of a design, but not on this phone. The black and gold camera island has a lot of detail, and surprisingly, none of them attract the attention of the other.

The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition also features a 3D-etched House Targaryen logo on its lower back. Its gold tone provides a striking contrast with the rest of the black color of the back, and is only highlighted by the matte finish on the gold side bezel. Every time I pick up this phone, I stop and look at it for a moment. You can enjoy this design all day long.

As if this was not enough, Realme has designed a color-changing back panel. Its black skin turns bright red when exposed to temperatures of 44 °C (111 °F) or higher. When it cools, the plate returns to its original black color. It’s so cool to see the color changing effect in action. The phone is rated IP68 and IP69, so you don’t have to worry about water leakage.

This immersive experience continues while the phone is turned on and set up. Realme’s GOT-themed design language extends to its UI, including the House Targaryen logo on fingerprint unlock, two unique camera filters (Northland and Kingdom), custom icons and Light and Fire themed live wallpapers.

Despite the large battery and screen size, this special edition Realme phone weighs less than 200 grams. This may not seem like a big deal on paper, but it’s one of the most comfortable large phones to use, in my experience. It’s also slimmer than many mainstream flagship phones. For context, it measures 7.84mm, which is less than iPhone 17 (7.95 mm) and Google Pixel 10 (8.6 mm). Doing so with a touch of luxury makes it an excellent value proposition.

The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition is a brilliant combination of art, innovation, drama and grandeur. It has just the right amount of opulence and practicality to be a collector’s item as well as an everyday phone.
