I’ve taken hundreds of photos with the Find X9 Pro. This is my favorite

Find X9 Pro is the latest flagship phone from Oppo. It has a bunch of upgrades, from the processor to the camera. I’ve been using the phone for a while, but there’s a lot I can’t tell you yet due to the company’s weird policy regarding when I can reveal certain pieces of information.

What I can show you is the phone and a slew of favorite photos I’ve taken with the multi-camera kit, including those taken with Hasselblad’s new telephoto lens.

Funny enough, what I can’t do is share any opinions, either about the phone or the photos I show you. So, you’ll have to make up your own mind about how these pictures turn out while I’m trying to write about them in a way that’s not my opinion at all, completely, completely, okay?

Let’s dig deeper.

We begin with a picture of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, and it is not at all opinionated to tell you that sunlight was already falling on it and that interesting clouds were in the sky. A lesser man might say that these shades look nice and rich and that the colors are accurate, but I can’t comment.

This photo was taken using the telephoto zoom lens, and again, it’s not an understatement to say that the details look sharp.

This is a telephoto lens accessory. As you can see (and this is obviously not my opinion), it’s roughly the same length as the phone itself, and attaches using a custom case. Do you think this might be a little awkward sometimes? Remember: Your opinions are not subject to a non-disclosure agreement.

Here’s a shot taken using the main camera’s standard 1x zoom to give an objective example of the zoom lens in action.

This is captured using the included 40x zoom telephoto lens. You don’t need me to tell you that there are a lot of details in the picture.

The phone has a main camera and an ultra-wide camera, but I’m not allowed to discuss the details here. However, the telephoto camera has 200MP. This camera is used when a zoom lens is mounted, giving it a large zoom range when combined.

Long zooms can be great for taking candid street photographs (opinion), so I tested Oppo’s zoom lens in various street scenes like this (fact).

Here’s another photo taken using the high-contrast black and white mode. In regular photography (which I can talk about freely, thank you), I love black and white photography, especially street photography, because it can really help remove distractions and focus attention on the subject.

Anyway, here’s the photo I took with the zoom lens.

Oh, fine. And one more. As an unrelated side note, zoom lenses can be a great way to isolate your subject in street photography, making them extremely powerful tools for interesting compositions.

Not an opinion if I encourage you to take a look at what the camera AI did in trying to recreate the details on the face of the person closest to the camera. After that, you can form your own opinion.

Come on, I’ll wait.

I don’t see any AI errors in this shot with the telephoto zoom lens.

This beautiful moment is also flawless.

Although I don’t see any errors, I do see blurred details in this close-up, which is surprising considering it was a quite bright day.

I shot this in black and white, but I also used raw DNG, so I could convert it back to color if I wanted to. But I didn’t because the rabbit looked so terrifying.

The cameras are certified by the famous camera maker Hasselblad.

At the Lady Gaga concert at the O2 in London, I also shot this interior scene in black and white. I usually like this kind of look, and I probably do here too.

It may also work with the ultra-wide lens, but I can’t say for sure at this point.

I noticed a lighting mixing desk, and that’s as far as I can zoom digitally with just the phone. You can zoom in on the screens more if you want, but you can’t really see anything.

With the telephoto lens attached, it’s as if I’m standing in front of them. The use of this lens is absolute (It has been revised)!

This scene was captured using Hasselblad XPAN mode. This mode mimics the wide and narrow aspect ratio of Hasselblad’s old XPAN cameras, and although it only crops your image, I like being able to shoot in this format at the time of capture so I can properly visualize how it will look.

And before you say that opinion, I’m referring to the same feature found on the OnePlus 14, which works in a similar way.

I’ve tried using XPAN mode here, and it’s up to you if you think it looks too drab compared to a shot taken in normal camera mode.
