Apple recently announced the revised version MacBook Pro 14 inch and iPad Pro models, each equipped with the new M5 processor. As expected, Apple’s new M5 chip is supposed to be faster than the M4 chip, with better performance for graphics-demanding applications. Apple also says the M5 is much better at handling AI-based tasks because the 10-core GPU has a neural accelerator built into each core.
In terms of price, the new 14-inch laptop starts at $1,599, while the basic 11-inch and 13-inch tablets start at $999 and $1,299, respectively. All three devices are scheduled to launch on Wednesday, October 22, but you can pre-order them starting today from both Apple and Amazon.
