Vision Pro gets its first “immersive” live sports.

Apple Vision Pro is getting new “immersive” content for the upcoming NBA season: a “selection” of live Los Angeles Lakers games that will be available to watch on the headset in Apple Immersive Video format, Apple announced today. “Vision Pro users will be able to feel the intensity of each match as if they were on the field, with views impossible to capture in traditional broadcasts,” Apple says.

The first Lakers game on Apple Immersive will be available early next year via the NBA app or the new Spectrum SportsNet app. The full schedule of games will be revealed later this fall, according to Apple. You’ll also need to have VisionOS 26 on your Vision Pro to be able to watch them.
